Right here on the property, guests can enjoy three ponds for fishing and wildlife viewing. The ponds are home to bass, bluegill, northern, crappie, and perch, making them a relaxing place to spend time by the water.

The campground is also surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. Guests may see eagles, osprey, herons, ducks, loons, beaver, fox, wolves, coyotes, bear, geese, cranes, otters, and other wildlife throughout the area.

ATV Riding

McKenna Road is an ATV route, giving guests convenient access to nearby ATV trailheads. This makes Arpin Cranberry Campground a great place to stay for visitors who want to explore the area by ATV.

Hiking, Biking & Winter Recreation

Black River State Forest is located about 7 miles away and offers great opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. During the winter, many trails are groomed for cross-country skiing, making it a beautiful destination year round.

The Elroy-Sparta State Trail is also a popular nearby attraction, located about 45 minutes from the campground. This 32-mile bike trail is known for its three rock tunnels and gentle grade, making it a favorite for cyclists. Bike rentals are available in Sparta.
