Growing cranberries is one of the most unique types of farming in Wisconsin.
Cranberries have been cultivated as a crop since the late 1800's, but today,
even in the computer age, few people know about this native fruit.

We strongly suggest stopping in Warrens at the
Cranberry Discovery Center before
your tour with us. It is a great venue for learning both the historical and modern cultivation
of cranberries. And the gift shop and ice cream shoppe is second to none for cranberry products! We offer tours throughout the summer months up until we start harvest in early October. Because we are a smaller operation, we cannot give tours during our harvest, since we need to be working! If you desire a harvest tour, Glacial Lake Cranberries gives tours daily during their harvest season. |
