| We are really blessed with an abundance of things to do and see here on the marsh, and in the surrounding communities. On the marsh, we have 3 ponds for fishing and wildlife viewing. These ponds have bass, bluegill, northern, crappie and perch. Lots of wildlife inhabit our acres. Eagles, osprey, herons, ducks, loons, beaver, fox, wolves, coyote, bear, geese, cranes and otters make their home here. |  |
| We have a hiking trail here on the marsh, which we are always expanding to encompass our 875 acres. We are surrounded by 100's of acres of county forest land open to exploring and hunting. The cabin is not available for rent during the gun deer season, and we do not allow guests staying at Cranberry Cabin to hunt on our property. |

The Black River State Forest is located only 7 miles away! It has great hiking and mountain biking trails that are groomed for cross country skiing during the winter. The Elroy Sparta Bike Trail is 45 minutes away from the cabin. It is 32 miles long with 3 rock tunnels and no more than a 3% grade. Bike rentals are available in Sparta at Speeds Bike Shop.
